Blue Display 16x2 w/ Serial Interface - (AD30797)

This is a basic 16 character by 2 line display with a background (blue or green). It uses the extremely common parallel interface chip HD44780 ( datasheet ). Interface code is freely available.

This display has an FC-113 serial interface IIC/ ^I2C adapter module soldered onto its pins. These serial interface modules make it simple to connect an Arduino to a 1602 LCD display using only 4 wires. This module uses the PCF8574T IC chip.
